Death Valley 2008 was my second trip to the area. This trip was laced with high winds and sand storms, poor quality light and lots of tourism. I cant understand why people enjoy this seemingly desolate place. I suppose its the same reason I do. Since the visible light was so poor, I shot mostly with an infrared camera, and captured light waves above the visible spectrum. What you see here is little to no photoshop manipulation, just an odd color shift of light bouncing around the walls of the desert.
